It’s Time To Calibrate So That You Can Stay On Track
Sometimes in life and business, you have to stop to align yourself properly with your goals. So many opportunities and tasks will be thrown your way, but it’s up to you to decide which are in proper alignment. I challenge you to take the time to be still and focus on what the ultimate goals are for you life/business. This isn’t something that you do once a year or once a month but sometimes daily. Here are some strategies that will help you stay on track:
Plan – When you take the time to map out what needs to gets done then you allow yourself to be in control of your time. The emails will continue to flood your inbox, the phone will continue to ring, and those d*&^ notifications on the phone will continue to ping. It’s up to you to decide when to hit the “Do Not Disturb” button and take some time to yourself.
Benjamin Franklin said, “When you fail to plan, you plan to fail.”
Eliminate Distractions – There are so many tools, gadgets and people that can distract you from your path to greatness. I find joy in LOGGING OUT of Facebook and social media. I find joy in turning my RINGER OFF. I find joy in CLOSING the computer and demanding time for me to focus on ME.
Zig Ziglar said “The result of information overload is usually a distraction, and it dilutes your focus and takes you off your game.
So calibrate your mind and get back in alignment. I was using an app the other day on my phone, and it forced me to calibrate the phone. That meant that I had to adjust the phone until the calibration process was complete so that the app would work properly. I noticed that we too have a calibration process so that you can work on the journey designed for you.
Start by mapping out your quarterly goals and break them down into monthly goals. Take your monthly goals and break those down into weekly goals. Take your weekly goals and break them down into daily goals. Focus on your daily goals because “What you focus on expands.”
